Favorite Summer Quotes

I used to update my facebook profile obsessively to put up new funny quotes to make people virtually lol, but then I discovered blogging.

So here are some favorite quotes from this summer here in the great city of New York:

"Whoever made the F train must have been very angry" - Krystyna

"This isn't Idaho or something" - guy who took our picture on a stoop in Greenwich Village

"You're Mormon, and naked all the time. I don't know how I feel about this." -my roommate Liz

"Where did all my money go"
"New York ate it" - eavesdroppage

"Much of the time I'm convinced I have no mojo...like, I'm asexual" - Tara

"Now they are in Mormon marital blogging bliss" - relief society lesson, which evoked collective eyeball rollage + laughter

"If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!" - Emily

"This is the funnest day of my life!!" -kid at Alli's UES summer camp, after a simple boiled egg science experiment

"I think the fact he speaks Japanese makes it okay" -Chantelle

"I love the first hot day of summer- it's like stepping out into a warm bath" - my roommate Sarah

"I was starstruck- it felt so L.A." - Sarah, on meeting Blake Lively and Penn Badgley in the lobby of their apartment building at 3AM (heading off to shoot GG in the Hamptons)

"I'm doing monogamously, how are you" - Collin

"Green is the new black" - global warming shirt

"Black is the new black" - African-American man's shirt

"He described himself as 'a banker.' Who describes themselves as 'a banker'?! It sounds like that Guess Who game you played when you were little: Does your person have glasses? Is your person wearing red? Is your person... a banker?!"
- Tara, on a guy our childhood friend married

"Wherever you are, it's friends that make your world" - magnet on Tara's fridge

To hear/see more, move to NYC.

It's a hilarious place.
