I'm only putting this up because I suspect you're too checked out to have any blog perusing know-how, much less internet access...
So, Mahalo for the fun times...
Hilarious...

A return to sanity
It's good to be back to the real world, where I can have above-adolescent level conversations again, among other things. (I'm immensely sorry I bailed on a friend... but I was going crazy in unconstructive ways.)
Literally laid across the kitchen counter begging my parents to stay up past their bedtime so they could talk to me some more.
Reminds me of this SNL skit. Too bad I was totally that girl in high school, just not out loud. I just thought my parents were cooler than most of my peers, so I hung out with them a lot!
"Apple- Tree, Dad." LOL.
Sculling on Mission Bay was an outing. There was a moment where my sis and I were carrying a boat out of the water and I yelled out to my mom watching on, "Kodak moment!" It truly was. Next week, we'll take a camera.
Coming full circle from this. My sis pointing to my mom's freshman rowing team picture in her college boathouse, where my sis now goes to school.

I'm missing them!
I can't wait to see them soon! These short windows of opportunities where we're all together are precious.
BYU peeps like to talk about families, and since we hiked like it was our job in New Zealand, I had many opportunities to talk about my own family. My sisters may be creeped out by this... shh....
I took this of them last summer on a hike in New Hampshire.(We made Flyer come along with us too, promising amazing views. Her knees may have begged to differ. Still feel bad about that ...)
The greatest part is, they only get more fun as we grow up.

Sometimes I really enjoy textersations
When they're as funny as this:
"Please tell me you're not into Justin Bieber"
Me: "Just a bit. I'm ashamed of it... but the pubescent pipes can be so catchy ahh!"
"Haha! I had a feeling about you! I will turn a blind eye muaha."
Me: "Thanksh love."
Signing off from rots and rots of fun here on the North Shore, Oahu.

Best pickup line ever, courtesy of my mom.
She's immensely intelligent.
She's unceasingly hilarious.
She's Beyonce reincarnate into a white girl body.
She is my mom.
One of my sister's roommates, whose last name is Campbell, visited over Christmas break.
One night my mom says, "Is your name Campbell? Because you're looking Mmm, Mmm...GOOD!"
Just one of MANY crown jewel lines of my mother.

Francophilia catches up to you sometimes
It's been 4 years since I've been to Paris. J'adore that place.
The first time was with my mom, and I was proposed to by a crepe maker right beside Notre Dame cathedral. I was at my peak of unhealthy teenage self-consciousness and thus very embarrassed about it, but my mom thought it to be really funny, of course. It's one of many signs Paris and I are destined.
Especially after Spain when all I wanted was ANY NON-BLAND FOOD, por favor. A non-Spanish-raised-on-balsamic-vinaigrette girl can only take so much paella and jamon serrano. Needless to say, 'DONDE ESTAN LAS VERDURAS?' was my oft-repeated phrase. It is mind-blowing how few things green Spaniards consume. I had olive oil and french fry nightmares for weeks after my return to America.
But I guess I better graduate, and get a real job in the east so I can justify fanshy rittle trips across the pond? Oh Champs Elysees ... (one of my favorite solo date night ins in Provo was spent on the Darjeeling Limited- obsessed).
Almost there.
This post is dedicated for one Chantelle Elise whom I miss too, who is NOT a barista ;)

Is it sad this is my favorite song right now?
And that I will probably think it is the most annoying song in about a week?
My little sister used to make fun of me for what songs I thought were "new" or "still cool" when I came home from Utah, as the radio there seems to be about 4 months behind cutting-edge California.
Point being, I have no idea how old this song is...I recently went through a 3-month pop culture sabbatical.
Anyone else still feel like they're 15?
