This post is dedicated to Brook, finals-week-sappy-love-song-listener extraordinaire.
We would listen to such kinds of songs during finals and midterms weeks (i.e. Danity Kane, Brian McKnight) to help us empathize with our bleak testing realities (we believe lovesickness and heartache are similar emotions to the anxiety and longing for tests to be over, etc).

This is a classic girlfriend! my favorite lyric is, "baby i'm the kinda man who shows concern." I feel like they were really stretching to find a word that rhymed.
