Flexitarianism

Vegan Update:

After a week less cheese or meat but plentiful in tofutti treats, I decided the side effect of needing 2-hour evening naps to function was not going to work for me and my B-12 levels. Even though vegan food is delicious and makes me feel good and all I craved was salad, my energy come 5pm did not see eye to eye.

So now, I'm a self-proclaimed flexitarian. I still do not really enjoy meat, or dairy products, really: that, of course, unless it's a really good stinky stilton cheese or pepper-crusted filet.

So as I pour my almond milk on my whole grain cereals or schmear my soy cream cheese on my sprouted grain bread toast, I still know that I'll still be one who enjoys CPK's Thai Chicken Pizza or or my mom's rack of lamb with mint infused vinegar reduction. Ma.zel.Tov. (it's Rosh Hashanah, you know).

Urban longing update:

I've found a great way to curb my urban longings: Overheard in NY.
Genius!
