So often times on the burnt mustard, I post things I've been thinking about, and I realize sometimes when I link to articles they are not particularly news worthy, which I suppose goes against the whole point of it being journalism.

If I keep anyone informed, it's my mom, who tells me or at least acts like everything that comes from me is breaking news.


But here is something that is timely:

I have been in excruciating jaw pain for about a month, and have been taking about 15-20/day of acetaminophen, ibuprofen or aspirin.

I've been getting relief for it which has yet to kick in, apparently the years of clenching the crap out of my jaw is causing me these problems.

But for goodness sakes, 2 Advil did a better job last night than 2 Lortab.

aka LORTAB DOESN'T WORK.

(Neither does Vicodin, I may add).

What the heck is wrong with me? I took 2 Lortab at about 10pm last night, expecting to slip into a peaceful slumber, free of being woken up by pain at 4am for an aspirin feeding.

So now I'm perplexed, distressed, and now I'm dizzy on Darvocet.

Wish me luck. Bring me my Bill Hemmer already. I'm convinced he will fix it.
